Turbocharging is most favorable in internal combustion engines. Advantage of turbocharging is more power than naturally aspirated engine with same engine displacement that comes it ideal for downsizing. The main disadvantage of turbochargers is turbo lag and shortcoming low-end torque. For solve of this problems the new turbocharging systems have been developed that one is two-stage turbocharging. Two-stage turbocharging has two turbochargers in series connection and boosting is taken in two stages. In this investigation ordinary turbocharging and two-stage turbocharging has been simulated and be compared with each other. The result show that in two-stage system boost pressure in all RPMs is more than single turbocharger, it means the engine output with two-stage turbocharger is more and also increase in low-end torque is remarkable. This turbocharging system decreases the vehicle fuel consumption but with its benefits has some problem like increase of back pressure in exhaust and add complexity in boosting system and engine, and control of system is important challenge.
